Puppy Love
This fall I did at least 6 family/kid sessions. I had the pleasure of photographing my nieces, Lauren and Mia and their puppy Banjo. Despite being less than one year old, Banjo can sure take both girls for a spin!
The weather has been more than cooperative this fall. I have never enjoyed the color and season as much as I have this year.

Autumn Embrace
©2007 Ardent Photography LLC
This image is part of the amazing "fearless bride/groom" session I shot on October 7, 2007 at my Aunt's farm in Kaukauna, WI. This shot was so cool because I told them to run towards each other. This is the end product of that direction. I love the embrace, the light, the movement of the hair and gown. Uh, this is why I am a photographer.
Some more reasons why I love what I do!

Sparkles in September
©2007 Ardent Photography LLC
This amazing photo is from Theresa and Andy's wedding in Menasha, Wisconsin on September 15, 2007. They had an outdoor ceremony at Smith Park, the weather was cool and the sun was shinning!
I've really been getting into macro work. I am so happy to be able to offer this kind of photo for my couples. Every wedding I try something different. This shot was set up on the couple's program.

At an Angle

This shot is the second (only to one lighting test shot I did) of an unbelievable day of shooting. The location was in Kaukauna, Wisconsin at my Aunt Patti's farm. The bride is from July 14, 2007 and this day she was completely fearless!

I had the pleasure of working with Janelle and Eric again - and I invited the Great Scoobs of CS Photography in Milwaukee (aka Craig) to shoot along side me. It was so much fun feeding off of all the energy in the air. I almost couldn't sleep a wink last night because every shot kept popping out again in my mind. This shot was sniped by Craig. I love the way he composed the shot and the colors are amazing! Thanks for taking this!

Heels on the Side
This photo is from the last of 5 weddings in September. This was my second marathon shooting spree this season. It was a blast.
This wedding had the largest wedding party I've ever shot! There were 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, two bell-ringers, a miniature bride, a miniature groom and 2 ushers. It took a lot of work to keep everyone together and organized but we were able to capture all the special moments the bride and groom wanted. Including a balloon release!
This weekend I am planning on doing a "Fearless Bride/Trash the Dress" session. I will keep you posted on what location we end up with... it has been a hassle since the Green Bay Botanical Gardens are now closed on the weekend. We'll make it work.
UPDATE: Craig from CS Photography in Milwaukee is coming up on Sunday to join me in a few sessions. He is actually going to do some photos of myself in a gown which I am very excited about! Then we are headed down to Oshkosh to do a "Fearless Bride/Trash the Dress" session at M. Schettl, then we are off to a farm location in Kaukauna.

New Love

This is Becky and Jason. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in the beginning of September. We had to hurry to get the location shots done before the storm rolled in. I can't wait to kick off the 2008 season with their wedding next spring!

Autumn Greetings
Drew is turning one in a couple of weeks. I love him more and more everyday.
He is starting to learn to "turn it on" for the camera. I can't wait to see what kind of photo adventures we will share! He is my little doll.

Sophisticated
This photo was taken at my cousin's wedding. They had unique place cards and collected corks for quite a while.
I was not the photographer of the wedding but I took some pretty neat shots - this is one. I am so happy for them. Congratulations Ben and Colleen!

Romance
I love looking back on photos from weddings I've shot. I am moving so fast and directing so many people. It is nice to look at a shot like this and see that I captured the "moment" that the couple will look back on and remember the way they felt at that moment!
