This is Becky and Jason. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in the beginning of September. We had to hurry to get the location shots done before the storm rolled in. I can't wait to kick off the 2008 season with their wedding next spring!

Autumn Greetings

Autumn Greetings, originally uploaded by Ardent Photography.

Drew is turning one in a couple of weeks. I love him more and more everyday.

He is starting to learn to "turn it on" for the camera. I can't wait to see what kind of photo adventures we will share! He is my little doll.

Sophisticated

Name Cards, originally uploaded by Ardent Photography.

This photo was taken at my cousin's wedding. They had unique place cards and collected corks for quite a while.

I was not the photographer of the wedding but I took some pretty neat shots - this is one. I am so happy for them. Congratulations Ben and Colleen!

Romance

I love looking back on photos from weddings I've shot. I am moving so fast and directing so many people. It is nice to look at a shot like this and see that I captured the "moment" that the couple will look back on and remember the way they felt at that moment!

Spin

Spin, originally uploaded by Ardent Photography.

Sarah looks like an angel as she spins in the grass at Seven Bridges Park in Grant Park in Milwaukee County. Her dress was very unique. It had two beautiful translucent "tails". I wanted to show it off by her twirling around. The lighting is just gorgeous!

We were unable to do our bridal session and trash the dress session in Green Bay because of the rain this weekend. Although, I would love to do a trash the dress session in the pouring rain! Keep visiting the blog to see fun and exciting sessions like trash the dress in Neenah, Oshkosh and Appleton.

Sensuality

Layout, originally uploaded by Ardent Photography.

I love this shot. I just dug it out from last season. I am having the time of my life this summer! I am shooting weddings every weekend and am booked until October. So far I've shot 8 weddings and have 9 more scheduled.

Some locations coming up are Cudahy, Delevan, Neenah and Milwaukee. Next weekend Craig from CS Photography in Milwaukee, and I are headed to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens to do a bridal session. It might end up being a little Trash the Dress, but never the less I am sooo excited to dress up in a designer gown and have my photos taken!

Keep an eye on my photo stream for new work!

High fashion bride

High fashion bride, originally uploaded by Ardent Photography.

This photo was taken in the ladies room at the reception. I loved the 1930's original subway tiles. I applied a Kubota action to this to try to add some drama to the photo.

Two Become One - July 14, 2007

The bride and groom did this themselves. Like I said... DREAM COUPLE! I just told them to go into this structure. I originally wanted to do just the bride, but the groom's silouette just looked too amazing. I'm glad I saw the bigger picture.

Unity

This photo was inspired by Scoobs1969... what a great way to showcase the wedding bands. This shot is straight out of the camera... however I did do a slight color balance modification in Camera Raw.

This photo is one of the MANY awesome frames that I took at yesterday's wedding. Janelle and Eric were the dream couple. Sophisticated, stylish, and most of all totally in love! They just fell into every "pose".

I also tried something new at this wedding. I downloaded frames to my MacBook and did a small slideshow before we left. By this morning I had 3 brides inquiring for 2008! YAY!!!

I will create a set of more shots soon.
