Dara and Tony - Winter Wedding in Wisconsin

This year is very special! I had three weddings in three weeks all in cold and snowy weather. Usually when a bride plans her wedding in Wisconsin they usually shy away from months like February and March. The weather can be such a toss-up. It can be 60 degrees and sunny one day and snow 8.5" the next.

Dara and Tony were married the first weekend of March in a Combined Locks Catholic Ceremony. Their wedding resembled their fun and laid back personalities.

Here are some of my favorites from the day:










The reception was held at the Bridgewood Resort in Neenah. This little guy totally stole the show! He was only 5 or 6 but had the moves of a seasoned entertainer.

Holden | Neenah Baby Photographer

I've mentioned in the past that I don't really do infant or children's photography. But this little cutie and his mamma are too cute to pass up... Little Holden was sooo cute and sooo good I could photograph him all day every day.

You might remember his mamma's maternity session last summer. I hope these two have even more kiddos to brighten the world like this little guy brightened mine that day!

Sweet as Pie | Baby's First Birthday

Yesterday was my darling baby girl's very first birthday. We had a fabulous "Sweet as Pie" themed party for her. Here is a sneak peak of Emerie and her beautiful birthday party spread...

Winter wonderful wedding! | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

I remember talking to Jane on the phone just a few months ago when she and Patrick were in the midst of wedding planning. It's pretty cool when a couple will select their wedding date based on my availability. She was hoping for a wintery snow-filled day... if it didn't happen we would do an "Ever After" session on another day with snow in the forecast. Luckily for Jane and Pat, the forecast for February 26 included the beautiful white confetti they dreamed about.








The couple did a "first look" on the rooftop deck of the Hotel Metro. The moments Jane and Patrick shared in privacy were captured in a beautiful even light. What a way to start their wedding day!









This group loves to play trivia at the Brat House. Part of this bunch is an Ardent 2009 bride and groom who also is the Milwaukee Quizmaster. I can't wait to head down and play some trivia with you guys!




Jane is a wedding invitation designer and co-owner of 2Hearts1Design. She designed so many amazing things for their wedding... including custom hankies, a pin-up board guest book, a custom cupcake and Jimmie Square stand and a totally amazing folding wedding program.




Coverage ended that evening in the midnight hour at The Landmark Lanes. It was so cute to see everyone in their wedding best hitting the lanes for the midnight bowl.


What a way to kick off 2011! Jane and Patrick, I am so honored to be present on your day with camera in hand. I wish you as much love as snowflakes that fell from the sky that day. Congratulations!

Warmness of love | Appleton Engagement Photographer

We are kicking off our 2011 wedding season this weekend. I have three weddings in a row this winter and I am so excited to shoot out in the fresh snow! (or whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at me!)

Jenny and Kory had a warm and heartfelt break from their busy lives during our engagement session downtown Appleton last fall. We warmed up with coffee at the Harmony Café - these two have a passion for coffee and it was fun to incorporate it in a way that was true to them.









Here's to the start of a wonderful season of capturing love at it's finest!

This year I did personalized gifts for all my family members - what a hit! These cute 4x6 custom designed calendars are now available and great gift ideas. You can have them designed with your engagement photos, wedding photos, high school senior photos... the ideas are endless.

Each month is printed as a 4x6 and can be displayed in a traditional frame, an acryllic frame. We have ours in a magnetic frame on our fridge!

It's the New Year!

I am so excited for 2011! I have an amazing group of couples that I cannot wait to photograph. Allie and Jordan are one of those couples...

This adorable pair from Chicago are just too cute for words. Their personal flair, infectious smiles and their adoring love for each other make me so anxious to photograph their wedding at North Shore Golf Club this summer.
